Dear Students, Staff, Parents and Guardians

It is with great excitement and anticipation that I extend my warmest greetings to the LLHS community as we begin the 2023-2024 school year. As principal, I am thrilled to join this remarkable school and begin this journey of learning, growth, and collaboration together. I just completed my fifth year as principal of Los Lunas Elementary.  During my 23-year career I have served as a teacher, coach, counselor and in administration at all grade levels. I am originally from Oklahoma and moved to New Mexico in 2014.  I have enjoyed my time in this district and look forward to many more years.

To the students, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with each of you. I believe that education is a journey and I’m committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where you can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

To the dedicated staff members, I am honored to serve as your principal.  I appreciate your time, commitment, and passion to our students.  Your dedication has made LLHS what it is today.  I am here to support you, collaborate with you and provide the resources to help you excel in your roles. Together we will create an environment that encourages innovation, embraces best practices, and empowers each member of our team.

Parents and guardians, I understand the crucial role you play in your student’s education and success. I am committed to open and transparent communication, and I encourage your active involvement in your child’s educational journey. I look forward to working with you as we strive to make LLHS the best in the state.  

I want to assure you that my primary focus will be the well-being, safety, and academic growth of all students. My vision is to empower students to become critical thinkers, productive citizens and individuals that will have an impact on their community and beyond.

I look forward to getting to know you and beginning this journey that focuses on our students.
